How to fix a Loose Brick in Your Step

Do you have a loose brick in your hand? Not sure how to solve the problem or who to call? Well I will save a lot of time and money with this simple and quick fix.

1. Take a hammer and lightly tap the brick until it can be removed by hand.
2nd Now that you have the brick out, remove any loose mortar from around the block with the hammer. Be careful and please wear eye protection. If some of the mortar does not want to come out, it's OK.
3rd Now clean the hole where the brick came out. Just clean the mortar loose. Make sure that any loose pieces are removed.
4th Now take a caulking gun and a tub of clear silicone caulking, and put caulking around the brick. Caulking may be purchased at any home improvement store or hardware store. Do not put any silicone on the face of the brick.
5th Now slide the brick into the hole tap lightly with a hammer until flush with the existing brick.
6. Now take a damp cloth and wipe any excess silicone from the brick.
7th Allow the brick to set up for at least 24 hours and you're done.

You just saved yourself a few hundred dollars and the steps look like new.
